Application Requirements

  1. Applicants must be graduating High School Seniors.
  2. Scholarship applications must be filled out by the applicant.
  3. Applicants must be citizens of the United States and reside in Colorado.
  4. Students must be pursuing a degree in an Agricultural related field of study at the accredited College, University, or Trade School of their choice.

Application Checklist

  1. An official, signed or stamped, copy of applicants Official High School Transcripts must accompany the scholarship application. Senior year classes must be listed if not included on transcripts. (You will be able to upload this as an attachment to your application).
  2. TWO letters of recommendation must accompany the application. One letter must be from a High School staff member; the other can be from any non-related individual. (You will be able to upload this as an attachment to your application).
  3. A one page essay outlining the applicant’s educational goals, chosen career plans, and any other information that the applicant considers pertinent must be included with the application. (You will be able to input this directly into your application).
  4. Application must be completed electronically to be considered.
  5. A high-resolution electronic photo of yourself (senior photo or similar) must be submitted with your application. (You will be able to upload this as an attachment to your application).

Failure to submit a completed application with all of the required materials will eliminate your application.

Please use this application only for the Secondary Scholarship

  • Two $1,500.00 scholarships will be awarded to applicants selected by the Colorado Farm Show currently pursuing their secondary education in an Agricultural or Vo-Tech field of study.

Applicant Qualifications

  1. Must be currently attending an accredited two or four-year College, University, or Vocational School.
  2. Must be continually enrolled as a full-time student at their school of choice.
  3. Must be a past recipient of a Colorado Farm Show Scholarship.
  4. Applicants must be citizens of the United States.

Application Checklist

  1. One copy of a transcript of grades from the institution that the applicant is attending. (If you do not yet have a GPA in college, also provide a copy of your high school transcripts showing your final high school GPA.) (You will be able to upload this as an attachment to your application).
  2. Two letters of recommendation from college advisor, professor, or supervisor. (You will be able to upload this as an attachment to your application).
  3. Signed and completed Colorado Farm Show Secondary Scholarship Application form.
  4. A high-resolution electronic photo of yourself. (You will be able to upload this as an attachment to your application).
  5. Complete application must be received by November 1st.

Failure to submit a completed application with all of the required materials will eliminate your application.
